  1. 8 oz 227g Elbow macaroni

  2. 1 Smoked mussels, or oysters - (3 to 4 oz) - drained

  3. 1 Smoked sardines packed in oil - (2 1/2 oz)

  4. 1 tablespoon 15ml Capers Chopped parsley - (large handful) - to taste

  5. 2 tablespoons 30ml Lemon juice

  6. 2 tablespoons 30ml Olive oil

  7. 1/4 cup 59ml Sliced scallions Salt - to taste Crushed red pepper flakes - to taste

  1. Recipe Instructions Bring large pot of water to a boil and boil pasta. Meanwhile prepare the ingredients: Coarsely chopping the mussels, sardines, capers and parsley and add them to the bottom of a mixing bowl. Add lemon juice and olive oil and season to taste with salt and crushed red pepper. When pasta is done, drain and shake dry and add to the bowl; toss with scallions, reserving some for garnish. Serve warm. Refresh leftovers with vinaigrette. This recipe yields ?? servings.
