  1. Basmati rice - 2 cup

  2. Onion (big) - 2

  3. Lemon juice - 2 tsp

  4. Curd (yoghurt) - 1/2 cup

  5. Salt - to taste

  6. Coconut milk - 1/2 cup

  7. Ghee (clarified butter) - 2 tsp

  8. Oil - 1 tsp

  9. To paste:

  10. Coriander leaves - 1 bunch

  11. Green chillies - 4

  12. Ginger(small piece) - 1

  13. Garlic - 5 cloves

  14. Cinnamon - 1

  15. Cloves - 2

  16. Cardamom - 1

  1. wash and soak the rice in half cup coconut milk and 2½ cup water.

  2. Clean coriander leaves, prepare a paste with the above given ingredients.

  3. Chop onion finely.

  4. Heat oil and ghee in a cooker; add onion and a pinch of salt and sauté well.

  5. Add the paste mix and sauté till it loses it raw flavor.

  6. Add curd, soaked rice with the water and required salt.

  7. Mix well and close the cooker.

  8. Leave it till a whistle.

  9. Reduce the flame to sim and let it cook for 5 mins.
