  3. 1/2 cup dry red wine

  4. 1/3 cup minced fresh parsley

  5. 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

  6. 1 tablespoon fennel seed

  7. 1 1/2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes

  8. 1 teaspoon salt

  9. 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme

  10. 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

  11. 4 cloves garlic , crushed

  2. Preheat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.

  3. Cook the mixture until browned, stirring to crumble it.

  4. Drain.

  5. Note, the pizza sausage can be frozen in zip bags for later use.
