  1. Basmati rice 1 cup

  2. Ghee 2 tsp

  3. Green peas 1/2 cup

  4. Cauliflower 6-8 pieces (small size)

  5. Paneer (cubes) 200 gram

  6. Salt 1/2 tsp (as per taste)

  7. Sugar 1/2 tsp

  8. Green chili 3-4 pieces

  9. Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp

  10. Onion 1 cup (1/2 bowl /small size - finely chopped)

  11. Ginger 1/2 tsp (finely chopped)

  12. Garlic 1/2 tsp (finely chopped)

  13. Black pepper 5-6 pieces

  14. Bay leaf 2-3 pieces

  15. Cloves 6-8 pieces

  16. Cardamom 6-8 pieces

  17. Cinnamon 1 (1inch piece)

  18. Cashew nut 6-8 pieces

  1. • Wash the rice and let the water gets drained off

  2. • Cut the paneer in small square pieces

  3. • Heat 5-6 tsp of oil in a pan and fry the paneer pieces till it becomes golden brown

  4. • In the rice cooker pour little oil, onions, ginger, garlic, bay leaf, black pepper, cumin seeds, green chilly, sugar and salt and mix well

  5. • Turn on the rice cooker and cook for 2-3 minutes

  6. • Add the rice and cauliflower and mix it properly with the fried onions

  7. • Pour in 4 cups of water

  8. • Cook for about 15 minutes

  9. • Add the peas, cloves, cardamom and cinnamon and cook again for 2-3 minutes till the rice is cooked well

  10. • Add the paneer and cook for 4-5 minutes more

  11. • Scatter ghee on rice and garnish with cashew nut

  12. • Serve hot with dal or curry
