  10. 5 ts tumeric

  11. 60 cinnamon sticks

  12. 60 peppercorn

  13. 60 clove s

  14. 100 cloves garlic crushed

  15. 20 2 1/2cm root ginger grated

  16. 20 tb sp chopped cilantro

  17. 1 kg ghee

  18. 60 onion s, grated

  19. 40 tomato es chopped

  20. salt

  21. cilantro to garnish

  1. saucepan > dals + water > boil + cover + reduce heat – until the water has been absorbed 2. meanwhile cilantro + cumin seeds + chillies + tumeric + cinnamon + peppercorn + cloves + garlic + ginger + coriander leaves > grind to form a paste 3. ghee > melt + onions > fry – until lightly colored + paste > fry + tomatoes > cook a while + cooked dals + salt > cook for few minutes.
