  1. Crust:

  2. 18 graham cracker s

  3. 1/4 cup butter , melted

  4. Glaze:

  5. 1 pint sour cream

  6. 1 teaspoon (scant) vanilla

  7. 2 Tablespoons sugar

  8. Filling:

  9. 1 1/2 lb. cream cheese

  10. 3/4 cup sugar

  11. 3 whole egg s, beaten

  12. 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  13. pinch of salt

  1. Roll crackers; mix sugar and butter together. Add cracker crumbs and mix well. Line a 10-inch pan with crumb mixture. Beat cream cheese thoroughly until fluffy. Add well beaten eggs, sugar and other ingredients. Pour into prepared crust. Bake exactly 20 minutes in preheated oven at 375 degrees.

  2. Remove from oven & spoon the following over it, very carefully: sour cream to which has been added vanilla and sugar.

  3. Glaze in oven at 475 degrees for 5 minutes more; watch very carefully.

  4. Chill before serving.
