  2. 1/2 cup(s) chopped peeled apple

  3. 3 tablespoon(s) granulated sugar

  4. 1 teaspoon(s) instant tapioca

  5. 1/4 ground cinnamon , divided

  6. 2 tablespoon(s) all-purpose flour

  7. 2 tablespoon(s) old-fashioned rolled oats , (not steel-cut or instant)

  8. 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) packed dark brown sugar

  9. 1 tablespoon(s) finely chopped pecans

  10. 1 tablespoon(s) unsalted butter , melted

  11. 2 teaspoon(s) pure maple syrup

  12. 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Toss rhubarb, apple, granulated sugar, tapioca and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon in a medium bowl. Divide between two 10-ounce (1 1/4-cup) oven-safe ramekins or custard cups.

  3. Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, pecans, butter, syrup, salt and the remaining 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon in a small bowl until crumbly. Sprinkle over the rhubarb mixture.

  4. Bake until bubbling and lightly browned, about 30 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
