  1. 2 cups sugar

  2. 1 3/4 all purpose flour

  3. 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

  4. 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  5. 1 teaspoon salt

  6. 3/4 cup baking cocoa

  7. 2 eggs

  8. 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

  9. 1 cup milk

  10. 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  11. 1 cup boiling water

  12. powdered sugar

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Grease your cake pans or cupcake pans and flour ( 2 9 inch rounds)

  3. Mix all of your dry ingredients together

  4. Add eggs, milk, vanilla and oil

  5. Mix on medium speed until combined

  6. Stir in boiling water, the batter will then become thin

  7. Pour into the cupcake pans or cake pans

  8. For cupcakes, it takes about 20 minutes and cakes about 30

  9. Still check with a toothpick for doneness

  10. When completely cooled dust the top with some powdered sugar
