  1. 4 pounds beef chuck roast

  2. 1 tablespoon minced garlic

  3. 1 tablespoon dried rosemary

  4. 3 bay leaves

  5. 1 cup soy sauce

  6. 6 cups water

  1. Place roast in slow cooker. Season with garlic and rosemary and add bay leaves. Pour in soy sauce and water. Cook on Low setting for 6 to 10 hours. Unlike most roasts, the longer it cooks, the better.
