  1. Cabbage 500 grams

  2. Tomato 2 pieces (medium - finely chopped)

  3. Potato 1 piece (medium- small pieces)

  4. Green peas 1/2 cup (1/4 small bowl)

  5. Cumin powder 1/4 tsp

  6. Coriander powder 1/4 tsp

  7. Salt 1/2 tsp (as per taste)

  8. Bay leaves 5 pieces

  9. Cloves 5 pieces

  10. Cardamom 2 pieces

  11. Hing 1/4 tsp

  12. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

  13. Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp

  14. Green chilies 2 pieces (finely chopped)

  1. • Wash the cabbage and grate it

  2. • Heat 4 tsp of oil in a pan

  3. • Add bay leaf, clove, cardamom and hing in the oil

  4. • Wait for few seconds till it splutter

  5. • Pour cabbage and potato pieces in the pan

  6. • Stir it well then add turmeric powder, green chilly, salt, cumin powder and coriander powder

  7. • Add green peas and then cook it on low flame for 10-15minutes

  8. • Add chopped tomatoes and then mix it well and stir it for 5-10 minutes

  9. • Pour small cup of water and then cover the pan for 5 minutes

  10. • Remove the cover of the pan and scatter garam masala on it

  11. • Serve it hot with rotis/chapattis or white rice
