  1. 1 clove garlic , chopped

  2. 1 chicken breast

  3. 3cm piece of ginger , chopped

  4. squeeze fresh lime juice

  5. 2 tbsp maple syrup

  6. 2 tbsp dark soy sauce

  7. packet Asian noodles

  8. 50 ml sesame oil

  9. handfuls coriander

  10. handfuls roasted peanuts

  1. Cut the chicken into strips and lay them in a shallow dish. Combine the marinade ingredients and pour over the chicken. Leave for as long as possible.

  2. Skewer the chicken strips and grill for three minutes each side.

  3. Cook the noodles according to the instructions on the packet, and combine with the sesame oil, coriander, peanuts and lime juice to taste.

  4. Serve the chicken skewers with the noodles.
