  1. 1/4 lb 113g / 4oz Butter

  2. 1 cup 237ml Water

  3. 2 teaspoons 10ml Worcestershire sauce

  4. 2 teaspoons 10ml Chili powder

  5. 1 teaspoon 5ml Pepper

  6. 1 cup 237ml Vinegar

  7. 1/2 cup 118ml Ketchup

  8. 1 teaspoon 5ml Dry mustard

  9. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Cayenne

  10. 1 teaspoon 5ml Salt

  11. 1/4 cup 49g / 1.7oz Sugar

  12. 2 Garlic - minced

  13. 1 Juice

  14. 2 Bay leaf - crushed

  15. 1 Onion - grated (large)

  16. Lemon

  1. Melt butter. Add vinegar, water, ketchup, Worcestershire and lemon juice.

  2. Mix mustard, chili powder, cayenne, pepper, salt, sugar and bay leaves.

  3. Add to other mixture. Add garlic and onion. Cook together for about 10 min.

  4. Makes about 2 cups, enough to swab 4-5 pounds of meat.
