  1. 1 medium chicken, cut into pieces

  2. 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste

  3. 2 tsp coarsely ground pepper corns

  4. 1 tsp white pepper powder

  5. 3 tbsp oil

  6. 1/2 cup water

  7. 2 tbsp lemon juice

  8. 3 green chilies, slit length wise

  9. Salt to taste

  1. Make a paste with ginger-garlic paste, salt, black pepper and white pepper powder. Apply this paste on the chicken pieces and leave for 1 hour.

  2. Heat oil in a pan and add the chicken pieces. Stir-fry for 10-15 minutes.

  3. Lower the heat and add the green chilies and water. Simmer until the chicken is tender.

  4. Add lemon juice and serve hot.

  5. Serves: 4 Preparation time: 15-20 minutes excluding marinated time
