  2. 3 tbsp. vegetable oil, divided

  3. 3/4 cup bread cubes, cut 1/2 inch thick

  4. 1 tbsp. white or cider vinegar

  5. 1 tsp. minced onion

  6. 1/4 tsp. salt

  7. 16 ounce can green beans, drained

  8. 3 tbsp. shredded Parmesan cheese

  1. Combine 2 tbsp. oil and the bread cubes in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook until the bread is golden brown and crisp, turning frequently. Stir together the vinegar, remaining 1 tbsp. oil, onion and salt in a small bowl. Add the green beans to the skillet and pour the vinegar mixture over. Cook the beans until heated through, stirring frequently. Sprinkle the Parmesan over the beans and serve immediately.
