  2. 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

  3. 1/2 cup white sugar

  4. 1 egg yolk

  5. 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

  6. 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained, reserve juice

  7. 4 large apples, diced with skin on

  8. 2 cups unsalted peanuts

  9. 1 (8 ounce) tub frozen whipped topping, thawed

  1. In a medium saucepan combine the flour, sugar, egg yolk, vinegar and reserved pineapple juice.

  2. Cook over medium heat until thick.

  3. Remove from heat and chill.

  4. In a large bowl combine the pineapple, apples, peanuts and chilled cooked mixture.

  5. Fold in whipped topping and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
