  2. 4 potatoes - cubed

  3. 8 carrots - diced

  4. 2 pounds beef

  5. 1 large onion - diced

  6. 1 clove garlic - minced

  7. 5 cups water

  8. 2 bouillon cubes

  9. 1/2 cup flour

  10. 1 bay leaf

  11. 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

  12. 1/4 teaspoon thyme

  13. 1/4 teaspoon basil

  14. 1/4 teaspoon oregano

  15. 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

  16. 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  1. Place meat in large pot. Mix flour, salt and pepper and pour over meat, stir to coat meat with flour. Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix well. Cover and cook on LOW heat for 4 to 6 hours. Stir stew thoroughly before serving. Don't forget to remove the bay lea
