  1. 1 Black beans - rinsed and drained

  2. 1/4 cup 15g / 1/2oz Thinly sliced green onions

  3. 1/4 cup 36g / 1 1/3oz Chopped red bell pepper

  4. 2 tablespoons 30ml Chopped fresh cilantro

  5. 1 Thick and chunky salsa

  6. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Fresh lime juice

  7. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Minced garlic

  8. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Ground cumin

  9. 1 teaspoon 5ml Ripe avocado (small)

  1. Combine beans, onions, pepper and cilantro in medium bowl.

  2. Combine salsa, lime juice, garlic and cumin in screw-top jar; shake well. Pour salsa mixture over vegetables; mix gently.

  3. Chill at least 2 hours or overnight, mixing gently several times. To serve, peel, seed and chop avocado.

  4. Add to bean mixture; mix gently. Serve with tortilla chips.
