  2. 1 1/4 cups sugar

  3. 1/3 cup butter

  4. 1 egg

  5. 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

  6. 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

  7. 2/3 cup flour

  8. 5 tablespoons cocoa

  9. 2 teaspoons baking powder

  10. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  11. 1/3 cup milk

  12. 2 cups rolled oatmeal -- up to

  1. Cream the sugar, butter and egg until light and fluffy. Blend in the vanilla and almond extract. Sift together the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with the milk. Mix well and stir in the oats. Drop by tablespoons on greased baking sheet. Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 12 to 15 minutes, cool on wire cake rack.
