  1. Plantain (raw) - 1 no

  2. Besan flour - 120g

  3. Corn flour - 1 tsp

  4. Fennel seed powder - 1/2 tsp

  5. Garlic paste - 1 tsp

  6. Chilli powder - 1tsp

  7. Sodium bi carbonate - pinch

  8. Salt - to taste

  9. Oil - to deep fry

  1. Peel the skin of plantain and chop a little on both ends.

  2. Cut the vegetable length wise, thin pieces.

  3. Blend in all the Ingredients except oil to thick batter.

  4. Heat oil, Dip the plantain slices in the batter and fry it in the oil till its golden brown on both sides and cooked inside.

  5. Serve hot with coconut chutney
