  1. 1 x Recipe Of Basic Meatballs;

  2. 1 tablespoon Margarine Or Butter

  3. 1 each Onion; Sliced, Md

  4. 1 1/2 cup Water

  5. 1 1/2 teaspoon Instant Beef Bouillon

  6. teaspoon Garlic Salt

  7. teaspoon Ginger; Ground

  8. 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce

  9. 2 eaches Green Peppers; Md, **

  10. 2 tablespoons Cornstarch

  11. 2 tablespoons Water

  12. 1 each Tomato; Lg, **

  1. * See Recipe 12 ** Seed the Medium Green Peppers and cut into strips. ** Cut the tomato into 8 wedges.

  2. ~-- ~-- Prepare the basic meatballs recipe and set aside.

  3. Melt the margarine in a large skillet.

  4. Add the onion and cook and stir until tender. Add the cooked meatballs, 1½ cups of water, the bouillon, garlic salt, ginger and soy sauce; heat to boiling. Reduce the heat and cover. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the green pepper.

  5. Mix the cornstarch with the 2 Tbls of water and add to the sauce mixture. Cook, stirring carefully, until mixture thickens and boils.

  6. Cover and simmer until the pepper is crisp tender, about 3 minutes.

  7. Add the tomato, cover, and heat for about 2 to 3 minutes longer.

  8. NOTE: Hot cooked rice makes an ideal accompaniment for this zesty dish.
