  1. 4 to 5 medium tart apples, peeled and sliced

  2. 3/4 cup dried cranberries

  3. 6 tablespoons brown sugar

  4. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided

  5. 3 tablespoons butter

  6. 6 eggs

  7. 1-1/2 cups orange juice

  8. 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  9. 3/4 teaspoon salt

  10. 2 tablespoons sugar

  11. Maple syrup, optional

  1. Apple Pan Goody Recipe photo by Taste of Home In a large skillet, saute the apples, cranberries, brown sugar and 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon in butter until apples begin to soften, about 6 minutes. Transfer to a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish.

  2. In a blender, combine the eggs, orange juice, flour and salt; cover and process until smooth. Pour over apple mixture. Sprinkle with sugar and remaining cinnamon.

  3. Bake, uncovered, at 425° for 20-25 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Serve with syrup if desired. Yield: 8 servings.
