  1. 2 tablespoons grapeseed oil

  2. 1 medium onion, finely chopped

  3. 1 tablespoon minced ginger

  4. 1 teaspoon black mustard seeds

  5. 1/4 cup dried curry leaves

  6. 1 tablespoon garam masala

  7. 1/2 teaspoon cardamom seeds

  8. 1 pound ground beef

  9. 1 pinch salt

  10. 1 cup frozen peas

  11. 6-8 savoy cabbage leaves

  12. sliced green chilies for garnish

  13. lemon wedges for garnish

  1. In a skillet set over medium-high heat, add oil. When it's hot, add onion and ginger and cook until softened and beginning to turn golden, about 3 minutes. Add the spices and cook for 20 seconds. Add the ground beef, season with salt and stir to break up any chunks. Continue to cook until beef is cooked through, about 8 minutes. Stir in the peas and cook until they turn bright green, about 2 minutes.

  2. Place a stove top steamer over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Add cabbage leaves and steam until bright green and tender, about 2-3 minutes. Place them on a platter and spoon the beef on top. Garnish with green chilies and lemon wedges.
