  1. 18-1/4 oz. Swiss chocolate cake mix

  2. 8 oz. cream cheese-softened

  3. 1/3 cup sugar

  4. 1 large egg

  5. 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Spoon batter into lined cupcake pans. Fill each 2/3 full.

  2. Beat cream cheese and sugar with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add egg, beating well. Stir in chocolate chips. Place a spoonful of cream cheese mixture into the center of batter.

  3. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove from pans. Cool completely before serving.
