  1. chicken 500 gm

  2. ginger-garlic paste 2 spoon

  3. Green Chilli 10

  4. almond 15-20

  5. onion 2 medium size

  6. yogurt 500gm

  7. fresh cream 250 gm

  8. coriander powder 1 tea spoon

  9. cumin seed powder 1 tea spoon

  10. bay leaves 2 leaves

  11. Green cardamom powder 1/2 tea spoon

  12. salt to taste

  1. Method Soak almond in warm water for 5 minutes and peel. Make paste of it.

  2. Make paste of onion and 4-5 chilly.

  3. Marinate chicken with Yogurt, Chilly, onion and ginger garlic paste for 3-4 hours.

  4. In a large deep vessel (Degchi or thick bottom pan) mix rest of the ingredients with chicken.

  5. Stir well and seal the lid with dough.

  6. Cook for 30 minutes.

  8. Tastes good if cooked in mud pot Cooking time should be reduced 20 minutes if boneless chicken used.
