  1. 1 pound ground beef or pork

  2. 1 pound cabbage shredded

  3. 1/2 pound carrots shredded

  4. 1/2 pound celery shredded

  5. 2 Cloves garlic crushed

  6. 1 whole onion chopped

  7. 1 pound potatoes to about 1/2" x

  8. 1" or smaller

  9. 1 Package green beans frozen, french style

  10. 1/2 cup soy sauce

  11. 1 x salt and black pepper to taste

  12. 1 Package spring roll wrappers

  13. 1 x vegetable oil*

  1. Saute garlic, onions, and meat in as little vegetable oil as possible, until onions become transparent.

  2. Add soy sauce and simmer for about 15 minutes.

  3. Add all the vegetables and simmer for another 10 minutes.

  4. Drain and cool for about one hour.

  5. When mixture cools, wrap ingredients in spring roll wrappers.

  6. Fry the resulting lumpias in hot vegetable oil, until brown.

  7. Serve with sweet and sour sauce.
