  1. 4 medium onions , minced

  2. 1 clove garlic , minced or 1/4 teaspoon instant minced garlic

  3. 2 tablespoons butter

  4. 1 lb lean ground beef , crumbled

  5. 1 tablespoon flour

  6. 2 tablespoons raisins

  7. 1/4 cup slivered almond

  8. 1 teaspoon ground ginger

  9. 1 tablespoon curry powder

  10. 1 beef bouillon cube

  11. 1 1/4 cups water

  12. 1 cup cooked peas

  13. salt and pepper

  14. hot cooked rice

  1. Cook the onion and garlic in butter until soft.

  2. Add the ground beef and brown lightly.

  3. Blend in the flour.

  4. Add the raisins through water; simmer, covered, 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Add the peas, salt and pepper; reheat.

  6. Serve on hot rice.
