  1. 8 ounce(s) wide egg noodles

  2. low-fat cottage cheese (1%)

  3. 1 container(s) (8-ounce)

  4. reduced-fat sour cream

  5. 1/4 cup(s) (packed)

  6. brown sugar

  7. 1 large egg

  8. 1/3 cup(s) water

  9. 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract

  10. 1 cup(s) chopped prunes or dates

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Heat medium saucepot of water to boiling over high heat; cook noodles as label directs. Drain.

  2. In large bowl, with wire whisk, mix cottage cheese, sour cream, brown sugar, egg, water, and vanilla. Add prunes and noodles and toss well. Spoon mixture into 9-inch square baking dish.

  3. Bake until golden brown, about 35 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
