  1. 3 1/2 cup All-purpose flour

  2. 1 cup Rye flour

  3. 1 cup Corn meal

  4. 2 cups Wheat germ

  5. cup Powdered milk -- (non-fat,

  6. Dry)

  7. 1 tablespoon Salt

  8. 1 pack Dry yeast

  9. 2 cups Chicken stock -- (for cats)

  10. OR beef stock( -- for dogs)

  11. 1 Egg --

  12. 2 tablespoons Milk

  13. Food coloring

  14. Cookie cutters

  1. Mix all ingredients (except egg and milk) together in a large mixing bowl and form dough. Roll the dough out to ¼ inch to ½ inch thick. Cut out different shapes your pet will like with cookie cutters. Put the cut treats on a cookie sheet and brush with a mixture of one beaten egg and 2 Tablespoons milk. Bake 40-45 minutes at 300 degrees. You can add a few drops of food coloring to make different colored pet treats. Refrigerate these treats until you use them.
