  1. 2 (1 lb.) cans pork & beans with tomato sauce

  2. 1/2 C. chopped peanuts

  3. 1/3 C. firmly packed light brown sugar

  4. 2 Tbsp. catsup

  5. 2 Tbsp. dark molasses

  6. 4 slices uncooked bacon

  1. Combine pork and beans, chopped peanuts, light brown sugar, catsup and molasses in a 1 quart casserole. Mix well. Arrange bacon on top of beans. Bake, uncovered in moderate oven, 375 degrees, about 45 minutes or until browned and bubbling. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
