    2. 1 cup chopped beef suet

    3. 1 cup raisins

    4. 1 cup molasses

    5. 1/2 cup currants

    6. 1 cup sour milk

    7. 1 cup corn meal

    8. Brown and white flour enough to make a stiff batter

    9. 1 teaspoon soda

    10. 1 teaspoon cinnamon; cloves, nutmeg

    1. A little salt.

    2. Stir molasses and milk together, put in soda, then suet, flour, etc.

    3. Steam three or four hours.
