  1. 1/2 lb 227g / 8oz Macaroni

  2. 1 cup 237ml Warm milk

  3. 1 teaspoon 5ml Butter

  4. 1 tablespoon 15ml Hot water

  5. 1 Egg; beaten

  6. Sharp american cheese;

  7. 1 teaspoon 5ml Dry mustard

  8. 1 teaspoon 5ml Salt

  1. Cook macaroni in pot until tender. Drain. Mix butter, egg, mustard, salt, milk and hot water. Combine macaroni and butter mixture in bowl. Add 3 cups shredded cheese. Combine. Pour into buttered casserole. Sprinkle with additional shredded cheese.

  2. Bake at 350F 45 minutes, or until custard is set and top is crusty.
