  1. 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

  2. 1/4 cup light corn syrup

  3. 2 Tbs. butter

  4. 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk

  5. 1/2 tsp. vanilla

  6. 3 cups Almond Crunch Granola

  1. Combine brown sugar, corn syrup and butter in small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Stir in sweetened condensed milk. Boil, stirring constantly, 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and granola. Pour into parchment-lined and oiled 8-inch square pan; cool.

  2. Almond Crunch Granola: Combine 1 cup slivered toasted almonds with 2 1/2 cups rolled oats, 1 cup flaked coconut and 3/4 tsp. cinnamon. Blend 1/2 cup honey with 1/4 cup almond or vegetable oil and drizzle over almond-oat mixture, tossing to mix well. Bake in oven at 350 degrees, 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from oven; loosen with spatula; cool. Makes 6 cups granola.
