  4. 3 cups Italian plum tomatoes -- coarsely chopped

  6. 18 ounces linguini -- or other thin pasta

  7. 1 bunch fresh basil leaves -- no stems, chopped

  8. 12 tablespoons parmesan cheese -- freshly grated

  1. Sauté‚garlic in olive oil until golden, but not brown. Add tomatoes, salt and pepper and simmer over med. heat for 20 minutesMeanwhile, prepare pasta according to package. When sauce is done simmering, remove from heat and stir in basil. Toss pasta with sauce and serve. Top with cheese.
