  1. 1/4 cup lemon juice

  2. 1 teaspoon lemon zest , finely chopped

  3. 1/2 cup water

  4. 1/2 cup sugar

  5. 1/4 cup water

  6. 3 1/2 tablespoons flour (or 2 tablespoons corn starch)

  1. Heat lemon juice, lemon zest and 1/2 cup of water until it simmers

  2. Slowly add sugar, stirring until it dissolves

  3. Separately, mix flour and 1/4 cup of water until smooth

  4. Slowly add flour/water mix to lemon juice, stirring

  5. Cook for about 4 minutes to let glaze thicken, stirring occasionally
