  1. Whole Chicken 1

  5. Cinnamon 1 stick

  6. Tomato 1

  7. Cardamom 2

  8. Green chillies 3

  9. Slit

  10. (Dry) coconut 2 tsp.

  11. Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp.

  12. Cashew nuts 5

  13. Red Chilli Powder 1tsp.

  14. Poppy seeds 2 tsp.

  15. Garam masala 1 tsp

  16. Oil 1/2 cup

  17. Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp...

  18. Coriander leaves 1/4 cup

  19. Salt to taste.

  1. Grind to a smooth paste the tomato, poppy seeds, dry coconut and cashew nuts.

  2. Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan; add the whole spices, then the chopped onions.

  3. Sauté until brown, add ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, green chilies and salt.

  4. Add the whole chicken, stir fry on all sides for 5 minutes, add 1 cup water, cover and cook over low heat until the chicken is almost done.

  5. Add the garam masala, and the ground paste, cook again over low heat until the oil starts to float on the top. Add chopped green coriander and remove from heat.
