  1. 2 tablespoons 30ml Minced garlic

  2. 1/2 cup 31g / 1.1oz Chopped onion

  3. 1 Tomato sauce

  4. 1/4 cup 59ml Beer

  5. 2 tablespoons 30ml Molasses

  6. 2 tablespoons 30ml Red wine vinegar

  7. 2 tablespoons 30ml Lemon juice

  8. 2 tablespoons 30ml Dijon mustard

  9. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Ground cumin

  10. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Ground ginger

  11. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Ground allspice

  12. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Cayenne pepper

  13. 1 teaspoon 5ml Ground coriander

  14. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Nutmeg

  15. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Paprika

  16. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Black pepper

  17. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml White pepper

  1. Puree the garlic and onions in a food processor.

  2. Place in a heavy bottom saucepan with the tomato sauce, beer, molasses, vinegar, lemon juice, mustard, cumin, ginger, allspice, cayenne, coriander, nutmeg, paprika, black pepper and white pepper.

  3. Simmer over low heat about 2 hours, stirring often to avoid scorching. The sauce will cook down and darken in color.
