  1. (Green gram)Moong dhal 1/2 cup

  2. Milk 1/2 litre

  3. Ghee 1/2 cup

  4. Sugar 1 cup

  5. Cardamom Powder 1/4 tsp

  1. .Soak the green gram dhal in water for 30 minutes and grind to a fine paste.

  2. Heat ghee and fry the paste till light brown in colour, keep aside.

  3. In a deep non stick pan bring the milk and sugar to a boil and add the fried paste, cook over low heat until it thickens to halwa consistency.

  4. Add the cardamom and remove into a serving bowl, serve warm.
