  1. 2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

  2. 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning

  3. 2 tablespoons butter or margarine

  4. 8 slices red bell pepper

  5. 8 slices green bell pepper

  6. 4 large mushrooms, sliced

  7. 1 green onion, chopped

  8. 1 to 2 cups heavy cream

  9. 1/4 teaspoon dried basil

  10. 1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper

  11. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  12. 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

  13. 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

  14. 4 ounces linguine, cooked and drained

  15. grated Parmesan cheese for topping

  16. 1 Place the chicken and the Cajun seasoning in a plastic bag. Shake to coat. In a large skillet over medium heat, saute the chicken in butter or margarine until almost tender (5 to 7 minutes).

  17. 2 Add the red bell pepper, green bell pepper, mushrooms and green onion. Saute and stir for 2 to 3 minutes. Reduce heat.

  18. 3 Add the cream, basil, lemon pepper, salt, garlic powder and ground black pepper. Heat through. Add the cooked linguine, toss and heat

  19. through. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and serve.
