  1. 75g caster sugar

  2. 75g butter

  3. 70g self-raising flour

  4. 5g cornflour

  5. 2 medium eggs

  6. 15ml milk

  7. 1tsp vanilla extract

  8. 55g butter

  9. 250g icing sugar

  10. 1/2tsp vanilla extract

  11. 30ml milk

  12. 300g of ready to roll white fondant

  13. Red, blue and black colouring to make pink for the ears etc.

  14. White sprinkles for the eyes

  1. For the sponge:

  2. Preheat your oven to 160 ° C/325 ° F/Gas Mark 3.

  3. Line your baking tray with 6 cases.

  4. Beat the sugar and butter with the vanilla essence until light a fluffy (about 5 mins)

  5. Add 1 egg, 1 third of the flour and a splash of milk and beat until just combined and repeat until all the ingredients is combined.

  6. Fill your cases to 2 thirds full, I use a 5cm Ice cream scoop which is the perfect measure.

  7. Bake in the oven for 20 mins depending on your oven, remove and cool in the tray for 10 mins before cooling on a wire rack.
