  1. Potatoes-4(each cut into 4 halves)

  2. Pea seeds(matar)-2cup

  3. onion (paste)-1 cup

  4. garlic paste-2tsp,

  5. ginger paste -2 tsp

  6. Tomato paste-2cup

  7. Green chili paste-2tsp

  8. chopped coriander-1/2 cup

  9. Spices:

  10. Asafetida-1/2pinch ,

  11. cumin seeds-2tsp

  12. Kasoori methi(dried fenugreek leaves)-2 tsp

  13. Turmeric powder-1 tsp,

  14. coriander powder-2tsp

  15. Red chilly powder-1 tsp,

  16. Salt as per taste

  17. Garam masala (powder)-1 tsp

  18. Refined oil (or any oil)

  1. Heat oil in a cooker and add asafetida,cumin seeds and kasori methi.As they start crackling, add onion paste and sauté till golden brown color appears.

  2. Now add,ginger ,garlic paste, stir and add potato cubes.Stir again by adding all spices and salt except garam masala.

  3. To this add tomato and green chilly paste and stir then add peas and stir till oil comes out.

  4. Add two glass of water and cover lid,cook for two whistles.

  5. Open lid and cook for next 10 minutes.Garnish with chopped coriander and garam n masala powder.

  6. Serve with rice and roti.
