  1. 4 lbs chuck steaks (7-bone steak)

  2. kosher salt

  3. fresh ground black pepper

  4. 2 garlic cloves , sliced (or minced)

  5. 2 rosemary sprigs

  6. 1/2 cup white wine (for more robust flavor) or 1/2 cup red wine (for more robust flavor)

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Season steak with salt, pepper, and garlic; rub seasoning all over to distribute evenly.

  3. Place steak in a large baking dish and lay the rosemary sprigs on top; roast for about 20 minutes.

  4. Pour wine over steak and roast until tender, an additional 20 to 25 minutes.

  5. Let rest 10 minutes then slice into serving pieces.
