  1. 1 cup corn oil

  2. 6 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed

  3. 4 tsp. chili powder

  4. 1 tbsp. lime juice

  5. 2 tsp. ground cumin

  6. 1 tsp. ground coriander

  7. 1/2 tsp. ground cloves

  8. 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

  9. 560 g each

  1. Stir together oil, garlic, chili powder, lime juice, cumin, coriander, cloves and cayenne in a large, shallow baking dish. Add chicken and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours, turning chicken occasionally.

  2. Prepare grill. Remove chicken from the marinade. Reserve marinade. Transfer chicken to an oiled grill rack. Cover and grill chicken about 20 to 30 minutes, basting every 5 minutes with reserved marinade and turning occasionally, until cooked through. Divide chicken between plates and serve.
