  1. 1 lb bulk mild Italian sausage

  2. 1 large brown onion, chopped

  3. 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic (I use bottled)

  4. 2 medium carrots , chopped

  5. 1 stalk celery , chopped

  6. 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can tomatoes , chopped & undrained

  7. 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce

  8. 1/2 teaspoon dried basil

  9. 1/2 teaspoon crushed dried rosemary

  10. 1 bay leaf

  11. 1 teaspoon crushed dried oregano

  12. 1/4 teaspoon crushed dried thyme

  13. 3 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth

  14. 1/2 cup orzo pasta

  15. parmesan cheese , shredded

  1. Brown Susage, Onion, & Garlic, drain.

  2. In slow cooker add: Everything except orzo and Parmesan.

  3. Cook on Low for 8 hrs or on High for 4 hours.

  4. Set pot to high and add Orzo for 20 minute.

  5. Serve with Parmesan Cheese in top.
