  2. 3 pounds ground beef

  3. 2 tablespoons shortening

  4. 1 cup onion, chopped

  5. 1 cup celery, diced

  6. 1 each green pepper, chopped

  7. 1 each garlic clove, minced

  8. 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce

  9. 1 cup catsup

  10. 3 each beef bouillon cubes, crushed

  11. 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  12. 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  13. 1 can tomato paste,

  14. 6 oz.

  15. 1 1/4 cups water

  16. 3 tablespoons vinegar

  17. 3 teaspoons brown sugar

  18. 1 teaspoon dry mustard

  1. Heat shortening in skillet and brown meat. Discard fat.

  2. Combine all ingredients in removable liner stirring well. Place liner in base.

  3. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or high 3-4 hours.

  4. Serve over warmed burger buns or noodles.
