  1. 1 loaf French bread

  2. 2 cloves garlic

  3. 1 stick butter, softened

  4. 3/4 c. milk

  5. 6 oz. cheddar cheese

  1. In a double boiler melt cheese. Add milk to melted cheese. Let cheese cook in milk until mixture is creamy. Add cornstarch to thicken. Prepare butter mixture. Mix butter and garlic together until creamy. Cut bread in half and butter with mixture. Spread cream sauce over bread. Bake at 325 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until edges on bread are brown.
