  1. 1 c. sugar (can use less)

  2. 2 c. flour

  3. 2 tsp. baking powder

  4. A pinch salt

  5. 1 egg

  6. 1/3 c. butter or Pareve butter

  7. 1/4 c. orange juice

  8. 1 tsp. vanilla

  1. Cream the butter and sugar in a large bowl. In another bowl, beat the egg and add the orange juice and the vanilla. Stir both mixtures into a large bowl. Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Add these ingredients to the large mixture and stir well.

  2. Refrigerate the dough for 1 hour. Dust a board and rolling pin with flour. Roll out the cool dough about 1/4″ thick. Cut with cookie cutters. Bubby used a small glass about 2″ in diameter. Sprinkle with a sugar/cinnamon mixture.
