  1. 1 Turkey Breast (size depends on how large your slow cooker is)

  2. 10 baby red potatoes (approx)

  3. 4 carrots cut into large pieces

  4. 1 small package baby portabellas

  5. 1 egg

  6. 1 box prepared turkey stuffing mix

  7. 5 slices stale bread

  8. 1 stick butter melted

  1. Place turkey breast uncovered in a 400 degree oven until nicely browned. Remove from oven.

  2. *Prepare stuffing mix according to package directions. Dice stale bread and 5 portabellas.

  3. *Gently mix in the egg, diced bread, portabellas and 2 tbsp melted butter with the prepared stuffing. Try to keep the bread cubes from mashing or pulverizing.

  4. *Gently stuff into turkey cavity and place turkey in slowcooker. Surround with remaining portabellas, potatoes, and carrots.

  5. *pour remainder of melted butter over turkey and sprinkle turkey with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

  6. *Pour 1 cup of water over vegetables Cook for approx 8 hours on high Yield: serves 6 Notes: You don't necessarily have to brown the turkey, but it makes it look a lot better. Slowcooked turkey never gets the beautiful browned look that you achieve in an oven.
