  1. All purpose flour 11/2 Cup (16 tbs)

  2. Baking powder 2 Teaspoon

  3. 1/2 tsp salt

  4. L tsp cinnamon 5mL

  5. 1/2 tsp ground ginger

  6. 1/4 tsp ground cloves lmL

  7. 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg lmL

  8. Packed brown sugar 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)

  9. Raisins 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)

  10. Egg 1

  11. Milk 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)

  12. Canned pumpkin puree 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)

  13. Vegetable oil 1/4 Cup (16 tbs)

  1. Directions In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg and brown sugar.

  2. Mix in raisins, if using.

  3. Make a well in the center.

  4. In a smaller bowl, beat together egg, milk, pumpkin and oil.

  5. Pour into flour mixture and stir just until moistened.

  6. The batter will be lumpy.

  7. Spoon batter into prepared muffin tin.

  8. Bake in preheated oven for about 20 minutes.

  9. Decorate with vanilla or cream-cheese frosting or whipping cream.

  10. Use raisins, chipits, smarties, carrot or green bell pepper pieces, nuts, or what- ever else you have on hand to make all kinds of scary monster faces on your muffin tops.
