  1. 1 1/2 cups flour

  2. 1 1/2 cup sugar

  3. 1/2 tbs baking soda

  4. 1 teaspoon salt

  5. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  6. 1 stick melted butter

  7. 1 egg

  8. 1 cup milk

  9. 1 teaspoon vinegar

  10. 1 can vanilla ready to use frosting

  11. yellow and red food coloring

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Sift flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt and baking soda together 2 times.

  2. Add milk, vinegar and egg and blend with hand mixer.

  3. Add melted butter and mix well until batter is creamy.

  4. Place cupcake liners in pan and divide mixture between 16 to 18 cupcakes.

  5. Bake on center tack of oven for 20 to 25 minutes In a bowl mix forsting with 10 drops yellow and 10 drops red food coloring. This makes a dark orange frosting.

  6. Once cupcakes have cooled completely, top each one with the frosting and store in an airtight container.
