  1. 4 large potatoes

  2. 1 large onion , chopped

  3. 2 eggs

  4. 3 carrots , grated

  5. 2 teaspoons oregano

  6. 1 tablespoon anise seed

  7. 1 mushroom stock cubes

  8. 1 pie crust (ready-made or pie crust pastry)

  9. 1/2 cup milk

  10. 1/2 cup parmesan cheese , grated

  11. 1 teaspoon salt

  1. Cut the potatoes into cubes. Boil them in slightly salted water until they start to soften. Remove them while still slightly hard and drain thoroughly.

  2. Mix the potatoes, onion and carrot and place them in the pie crust.

  3. Dissolve the mushroom stock cube in water then pour it into the pie.

  4. Beat the eggs with the milk, then pour it into the pie.

  5. Sprinkle the oregano and aniseed over the potatoes, and then the parmesan cheese over the top.

  6. Add the pie crust top and bake for around 30 minutes at 170°C.
